About

Welcome to Wild Cove Studio.

I'm Zoë, the artist and one woman business owner who loves to create your jewellery pieces.

I currently live on the stunning Dorset coast, and my new studio space is nestled within some of the most beautiful beaches, bays and harbours in the UK.

As a 70s child, my family used to trade weekly at local antiques markets. I spent a lot of my younger days rummaging through piles of discarded treasures and adored nothing more than finding beautiful jewellery, books or paintings tucked away in dusty old boxes.

This inspired my first sparks of creativity, and the bold statement, layered, silver & gold gemstone jewellery style from that era is still my favourite look - think Stevie Nicks & Joni Mitchell. Reflections of this boho, free-spirit vibe is prominent in both my work and my own persona - my go to items of clothing have always been boho maxi dresses, flared hippy vibe jeans - and dungarees!

My silversmith journey finally began in 2019, after many years of wanting to create handcrafted jewellery for myself and others. I attended a two-day silversmithing taster course deep in the Dorset countryside, and instantly fell in love with this ancient craft. There's something about working with fire and metal that just feels so magical.

I get a lot of my design inspiration from the South West coastlines of England, and the local Dorset woodlands full of oak trees and wildlife, and being plastic free & eco conscious is an important theme throughout the business. To help support much needed funding for important conservation work, I will be donating a small percentage of my yearly sales to local charities - and maybe some future fundraising and beach clean events. You will find out more about this in my upcoming blogs, sign up to my emails to keep in touch and get involved!

Wild Cove Studio was named after my favourite Dorset & North Devon beaches, where I also lived for many years. Mostly ocean themed, my jewellery designs can positively change the way you feel just by putting it on, giving you a boost of confidence. This is why a lot of my pieces have hidden messages or images on them somewhere - a little reminder to always be the wonderful, empowered soul that you truly are.

Thanks so much for stopping by, it means the world and I do hope you find your own favourite handcrafted treasures to wear and enjoy for generations to come!
